Young Scholars Program
Lambda Iota Omega's Young Scholars Program offers two (2) deserving students in the Gainesville-Hall County area financial assistance in attending the college of their choice. Scholarships will be awarded in the amount of $500 for the 2009-2010 academic school year.

Rising Spirit Program
Lambda Iota Omega's Rising Spirit Program offers a student mother in the Gainesville area the support of our organization in their aspiration for continued self-growth. We know that life does not always go as planned, but we believe that education can help our youth overcome any hurdles. We seek to assist a deserving young mother by benefiting from services that are designed to help them achieve the scholastic and career goals as well as achieve mental, physical and spiritual health.

Acceptance into the program includes:

> An ongoing Mentoring Program through college
> Tutoring Services (as required)
> Health/Sex education
> Economic Education
> Goods during the Thanksgiving holidays for their family
> Goods for their child/children during the Christmas holiday
> $250/year College Scholarship (up to 4 years based on eligibility)
